Recycling and Reclamation Worker

Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking a candidate for a Temp/Temp to Hire Recycling and Reclamation/General Laborer position with a very solid Erie, PA based company. This is a 1st shift position with a rate of $12.00 /hour.Job RecRecycling and Reclamation LaborerShift: 1 st shift 8:00AM to 4:00PMPay Range: $12.00 /hour***Candidates must be open to a criminal background check*** Overview of the Position: Prepare and sort materials or products for recycling, identify and remove hazardous substances, and dismantle components of products such as large-scale medical equipment. Responsibilities: Harvests, records, and stores desirable parts for future use.Dismantles scrapped equipment and sorts pieces into containers.Sorts materials to separate items, such as steel, stainless, copper, brass, aluminum, circuit boards etc. for recycling.Documents actions by logging scrapped or harvested equipment.Operates forklifts and other loaders.Cleans the warehouse/shop area by sweeping, raking, picking-up debris, or moving barrels and bins.
