Production Supervisor

Ultimate Staffing has partnered with an exciting and rapidly growing company in Fremont CA that is looking to add a Production Supervisor.Key Activities• Plans & monitors work flow to prioritize daily tasks and operations to achieve maximum efficiency and output.• Prioritizes production work load based on Sales Order and other demand• Manages personnel, including hiring training/development, reviews & counselling• Resolves production issues in support of Engineering.• Exercises judgment within defined feedback, procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.• Ensures personnel comply with established policies and procedures, including ISO9001, ISO14001.• Updates production documentation as required, including Work Travellers and Top Level specifications.• Drives yield control and improvement through personnel compliance activities, including auditing and NCR maintenance.• Manages materials and supplies by ordering and monitoring material usage vs demand rate. This includes creating part numbers as required and maintaining min re-order quantities and safety stocks.• Implements ''Lean'' strategies where applicable Skills & ExperienceEssential• Education: BS, AS or strong equivalent experience in related technical field• Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience• Hands-on in fast-pace & technically challenging work environment• Self-motivated, action oriented, organized, reliable, and a good problem solver.• Strong management, communication (written & verbal), and people skills.• Able to interpret mechanical drawings with linear and angular tolerances.
