Waterjet Operator

• Managing and organizing workflow based on WO start dates. • Finding the programs within our file system and following the sequence of operations. • Loading and or converting Waterjet programs. • Finding the correct material based on what the WO and Program call for. • Safely loading and unloading from the Waterjet table different metal plate material in thickness ranges from 1/16"- 4". • Verifying conformance of finished features using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and various other gages. • Removing burrs and tabs from finished work piece. • Recording an accurate account of setup and run times. • Keeping account of metal plate inventory. • Suggest and implement improvements. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment. • Planning/mapping out part nests to minimize material waste and setup time. • Basic machine maintenance such as high-pressure line replacements, mixing tube swaps, low- and high-pressure seal replacement, etc. • Daily forklift operation. • Must be able to work in a team environment. • Operate various types of bench grinders and belt sanders to perform deburring and polishing operations.
