Financial Reporting Manager

Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects associated with the SEC reporting compliance process, including:Preparation of periodic filings, including related XBRL tagging Ensuring financial statements and related disclosures adhere to GAAP and SEC regulations Overseeing compliance with internal control policies and procedures, while modifying controls as warranted with changes in business processes Coordinating the external audit processOversee the Disclosure Committee and assist with preparing for Audit Committee meetingsMonitor developments by the SEC, FASB and other standard setters while assessing the potential impacts to Solaris Water and proactively communicating such impacts to ManagementPrepare the monthly financial reporting package for Management and Board review Assist with preparing investor relations materialsPerform technical accounting research and position papers as neededIdentify opportunities to enhance business processes and to develop new analyses/reports to facilitate operational and financial planning and decision makingDevelop processes and business partner relationships with internal and external groups that will improve the flow of financial information within the Company Other projects as designated Education and Qualifications A minimum of 7 years of related work experienceSignificant experience with SEC reporting and XBRL tagging and the external audit processes Must be a CPA and hold a BS/BA (or higher) in accounting or financeExternal audit experience with a public accounting firm preferred, but not requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements requiredExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills requiredExperience in collaborating successfully across multiple teams and levels Must be highly organized and able to multi-taskMust be flexible, adaptable, proactive, and work well under pressure
