Sr. Manager, Materials Management

We are an aerospace and aviation industry leader with an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Material Manager. This is a direct hire, permanent job located in Palm Bay, FL. Relocation assistance IS available for candidates not local to Central Florida. Due to the nature of our work, all candidates MUST be US Citizens, able to obtain a security clearance. Current, active Secret clearance is a plus. In this role, you will lead the Material Management team responsible for large and complex aviation programs. This includes managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure that all raw materials and components are planned, and purchase requisitions are planned and executed. Also responsible for planning and scheduling movement of material from receiving/warehouse to the stockroom, then to production. Responsibilities: Manage subcontractor and supplier performance, cost and schedule. Ensure project objectives are achieved, including quality, on-time delivery and affordability. Work with cross functional teams including Subcontract Management, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, etc. Plan, develop, implement supply chain strategies. Provide timely, accurate supply chain updates to senior management. Initiate corrective action measures with suppliers when necessary Solid experience with MRP concepts and tools; experience with CINCOM Control, Agile PLM, PeopleSoft, and Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus Establish, track and report Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) performance. Work directly with technical teams to identify and improve processes, and propose changes, to include supply chain risk mitigation strategies and potential cost savings/avoidance.
