AMETEK Land serve world industries including aluminum, glass, hydrocarbon processing, industrial processing, minerals, power generation, specialty metals and steel.What you will do as a Service Technician for Instrumentation Calibration & Repair:As a Service Technician - Calibration & Repair, you will work closely with our Aftersales Support & Service Team to support company success and customer satisfaction by performing technical support, repair and calibration of AMETEK Land Electromechanical Instruments including Infrared non-contact temperature measurement devices and Combustion & Emission monitoring instrumentation. The key to success as a Service Technician - Calibration & Repair is an understanding of electronics and the ability to continually learn new programs and processes, highly organized, the ability to multi-task and support multiple objectives at the same time, and being self-motivated and directed to work efficiency and effectively with minimal supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Service Technician:• Repair, calibrate, and certify in accordance with ISO 17025 requirements• Unpack, log, and inspect incoming Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)• Support and troubleshoot with customers• New system set ups and instrument firmware/software upgrades• Updating of Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) within database• Documenting of customer product complaints and non-conformances• Manage multiple projects/products at various cycles in support at the same time
