Fiscal Analyst

We are looking for an (IT) Fiscal Analyst for a 1-year (+) contract engagement with one of our Delaware based clients. This is a combo remote with onsite work in Dover 2-3 days a week. Responsible for working with the IT Controller and the fiscal team members to ensure financial resources are utilized in the best interest of the Department, its clients, and the citizens of the State of Delaware. Responsible for the application of standardized accounting practices and principles in the analysis and maintenance of financial account records and reports. Responsible for preparing fiscal reports and analysis to provide accurate and consistent financial and fiscal information to support Federal grants programs . Areas of responsibility may include procurement, accounts payable, fiscal monitoring, monthly reconciliation, financial analysis and reports for Federal grants programs This position requires technical training and experience in governmental accounting, particularly in the areas of cost recovery and general accounting practices
