Miller Brother Staffing in York, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Millwright. JOB TITLE - Millwright PAY RATE - $20-30 /hr SHOP LOCATION: York, Pennsylvania 17408 Applicant MUST be willing to travel and stay overnight in hotels, sometimes on a weekly basis. Out-of-Town work comes with per diem. Hotels and food are paid for when out of town working. SHIFT: 6AM to 3PM some days may be until 4PMMonday-Friday 3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS: Must have welding/fabrication/fitting experienceIndustrial construction or relative type of Industrial working background: 5 years (Preferred)Seeking candidates that are okay with out-of-town travel, valid driver''s license JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES: Use of hand and power tools, welding operations, saw cutting, and lifting equipment.Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, and welding symbols.Follow work orders and written instructions to correctly fabricate, layout, and weld components.Applicant must have strong background in Industrial type work.Applicant should be proficient in welding in adverse conditions and climates.Applicant should be familiar with various ways to cut/grind metal (hand plasma, grinder).Applicant must be proficient in rigging and with working around cranes.Applicant must have knowledge of job site safety and be mindful of procedures put into place by ABC York while on site.Should be familiar with running various types of man lifts and telehandlers.Preferably 3 years of field fabrication/millwright experienceWelding knowledge and capability of passing a certified welding test (stick weldingGeneral knowledge of equipment; forklifts, iron worker etc.Must not be afraid of working at heights when neededAble to travel out of town; travel would be Monday-Friday (weekends home)Company will pay per diem expenses (hotel, food) when working out of town.Valid Driver''s license and reliable transportationNo health concerns or restrictions that would inhibit work dutiesMaintain neat, organized, and clean work areas to avoid safety concerns or project delays.Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, reach, squat, throughout the shift.Must be able and willing to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the day.Must be able to work from heights, as required.
