Miller Brother Staffing Solutions in York, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Shipping Helper for 1st shift.Pay Rate - $15-$17/hour based on skill levelShift: 1 st shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm**May be required to come in early or stay later than regularly scheduled shift**3 most important things:Seeking candidates that are looking for a company to call homeCandidates must be mechanically inclinedCandidates must have own reliable transportationESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Perform miscellaneous operations or may be assigned to work of a particular classification, remaining in this classification until such time as the supervisor feels he/she is able to efficiently perform the work required of that classification.Operations may include moving material, parts and assemblies, loading and unloading, sweeping, helping operators and assemblers to lift, position and handle material, covering, masking and running errandsSupports higher classification within the assigned area.Actively participates in learning skills required for the purpose of preparing to advance to a higher classification.Use hand trucks, power drills, grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and other tools in completion of operations.Able to read tape measure, do decimal to fraction conversionsBasic math skills neededEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 6-months manufacturing experience preferredBasic computer skills requiredAbility to read, write and follow written instructionsPhysical Demands: Shop Floor environment / shared workbench or workstationAbility to stand and sit for long periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools)Ability to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to tolerate constant noise (machine motors - large fans)Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditionsAbility to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as requiredNon Climate controlled environmentInterested or qualified candidates should submit a resume and/or contact information for DYOKGEN
