We keep pushing ourselves to go above and beyond and are looking for top talent to become a part of our team!We offer the following benefits: 30% discount on merchandise competitive salary career advancement Bonus opportunityan excellent benefits package including Vacation/Sick/Holiday pay, Medical/Dental/Disability/Life and AD&D insurance & 401kThe Senior Director of Licensing is responsible for the effective management of licensing operational functions, including overseeing the product and packaging approval process; managing the delivery and flow of creative and marketing assets; ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, creating and implementing processes to streamline and build efficiencies into the product approval process; and maintaining on-going communication with cross-functional teams to ensure information is shared frequently, with accuracy and in a timely manner.Specific functions include:Oversee the product approval process, ensuring proper approvals are obtained from licensors for all aspects of product development, including but not limited to product concept, artwork, photography, packaging, marketing/promotional plans and the like.Managing the flow of assets to cross-functional teams (Merchants, Product Development, Packaging, Creative Services, Marketing and PR).Develop, implement and maintain communication tools to ensure cross-functional teams are provided regular information and updates regarding licenses in a timely and efficient manner.Trouble shoot issues related to product, packaging and marketing approvals both internally and with external partners.Maintain protocols to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.Monitor adherence to contracts regarding product, pricing, distribution, use of the IP, etc.Manage professional business relationships with company''s licensor partners functioning as corporate liaison between all appropriate departments and licensors to assure success of licensed products.Document and maintain licensing procedures and guidelines that will enhance the communication channels between internal teams related to licensing acquisitions (e.g. notifying internal teams of new licenses, scope of rights, contract terms, legal lines, etc.).Ensure contract compliance with test reports, manufacturing agreements, contractual samples, vendor compliance, factory and financial audits and the like. Monitor progress and timeliness of product development and approvals, identify risks in the delivery of priorities and implement timely resolution of issues, using proactive and clear communication.Responsible for ensuring the delivery and updating of property-related support materials such as character profiles, storylines, property themes, all printed material, in-store merchandise material and other third-party licensing activity information, and providing these materials to cross functional teams to enhance the development of licensed product.Lead on establishing and maintaining good relationships with external partners to understand and influence their activities and promote and enhance company goals and reputation.A proven track record in managing deadlines to deliver superior service to internal and external customers.Strong merchandising and product orientation.A thorough understanding of the licensing process and experience working with licensors.The ability to manage a high-functioning team under tight deadlines and a heavy workload, identifying process improvements and efficiencies.Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and with diplomacy.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to oversee complex processes involving a myriad of internal and external functions and teams.Superior account management and interpersonal skills.
