Computer Support Technician

Caliper, A CorTech Company, is a temporary staffing company that is currently looking for a Computer Support Technician in Chesapeake, VA. Starting Pay : $18.08 hr., paid weekly (every Friday)Schedule: M-F 4:00pm-12:30am or rotating shifts, other shifts available Assignment Length: 12 monthsJob duties:-Provide Computer Operations support service to users and external departments to include processing computer requests from users -Submitting batch programs into production runs-Answering telephones, recording jobs/run times in log books, maintaining logs-Monitor DIT building security, printing reports from mainframe system -Submit run requests via TWS scheduler on mainframe.-Assist users as needed, placing internal and external service tickets and other duties assigned . Requirements and Qualifications:-Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of college education in computer technology or a closely related field-Must be able to pass a background check and FBI fingerprinting-Must have a valid ID-MUST BE FLEXIBLE-Must have experience using MainFrame software
