Reporting to our CEO, we ''re seeking a VP of People to lead our People team working out of our HQ in Denver. This is an exceptional opportunity to further define and optimize how we identify, recruit, develop and retain top talent while providing a world-class employee experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate leader who has built and influenced high-performing cultures at growth-stage tech companies. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the People team by overseeing talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, along with compensation, benefits and employee programs.Responsibilities: Lead and develop the People function and team, providing leadership, mentorship, growth opportunities and guidance. Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all talent and people related issues.Coach people managers to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams and cross-functional relationships.Oversee the recruitment team to implement best practices and processes to attract the best talent.Continue to build and define our exceptional company culture.Ensure an exceptional employee experience, in-office, remote and hybrid. This includes managing the effectiveness and safety of our facilities as well as the effectiveness of our work norms and practices.Build strong connections and communication among employees all over the world.Ensure that our global compensation and benefit programs are competitive and effective.Build and enable the diversity of people, ideas, and perspectives. Lead the implementation and tracking of key KPIs across the People Team.Be the point of contact regarding any employment-related compliance and legal policies.Enhance and implement best practices that will improve efficiency and the overall effectiveness of the People function, from internal processes to appropriate technology solutions.Oversee employee training and development capabilities.Qualifications/Experience:Previous experience leading a People function, with a strong generalist foundation across all People team functional areas including; recruiting, talent development, organizational development, performance management, change management, compensation and benefits, compliance/legal policies, employee engagement, and employee relationsAbility to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organizationStrong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate appropriate HR and business strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience planning and executing on outstanding recruiting, culture, and employee-related programsA compassionate leadership style that empowers the team and leaders to bring their best to the organization.
