Paint Technician

RCO Engineering, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Paint Technician within our Plastic Injection Molding department. As a Paint Technician you would assist our prototype and low volume production projects. Prepare body for paint process by removing necessary body panel defects/ imperfections in plastic components with body filler and glazing putty Mask areas for paint with proper tape/ paper Applications of primer surface coatings Proper use of DA sanders, block sanders, and other body preparations tools Repairs paint damaged surfaces Follow proper standards in paint application of body base coat/ clear coat Perform paint mixing applications to proper standards Work with numerous substrates including fiberglass, 3D printed parts, carbon fiber, and polyethene parts Adhere to final finesse polish procedures Work to specification standards, understanding, following TDS/ SDS information Inspect show quality finish Trouble shooting Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies. Support corporate continuous improvement initiative. Any other duties as assigned.
