Reentry Navigator Manager

The Safer Foundation is a social service provider to individuals with arrest and conviction records. Through a full range of services, including case management, educational instruction and advocacy, we focus on preparing individuals for the world of work by helping them find and keep productive and meaningful employment. General Summary : Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Reentry Navigator Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Reentry Navigators providing supervision, training, and other managerial duties as assigned. The Reentry Navigator Manager will manage the operations of the reentry programs, which assist people with past incarceration and other disadvantages in becoming self-sufficient by providing holistic services that create multiple pathways to success. To fulfill this, the Reentry Manager will conduct supervision and training regularly for the Reentry Navigators, as well as review files within the Salesforce platform to ensure documentation is within compliance standards in accordance with program, agency, and grant requirements. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Passion for social justice. Knowledge of the reentry process and cross-sectoral barriers faced by individuals upon release. Knowledge of Medicaid in Illinois desired. Excellent communications (oral and written), computational and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy; able to use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications. Self-reliant, resourceful and outcome-driven with the capability to function in a fast-paced, start-up work environment. Previous experience documenting services in an electronic health record system or case management system desired. In-depth practical knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Familiarity with the use of Electronic Health Record software to document notes/services; Experience with Qualifacts, CareLogic system is a plus. Education and Experience: High School Diploma required. Bachelor''s degree in related discipline preferred, may be substituted with 3+ years of experience with program operations. At least 2+ years'' experience performing assessments and case management services, preferably within substance use provider, mental health center, or other social service organization. At least two years'' experience providing supervisory/management services to team members. Experience providing employment and/or training services to low-skilled, low-income adults highly desired. Certified as a CADC desired or ability to obtain CADC within two years of hire and/or licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a professional counselor or social worker in the state of Illinois.
