Machinist Apprenticeship

Title: Machinist Apprenticeship Summary: Help production by performing duties such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and maintaining work area and equipment. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with occasional OT Pay: $15.00/hour Duties: Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them Record information needed for production purposes Prepare raw materials for processing Maintain a clean and safe work area Performs other related duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not necessary Must be able to read and understand instructions Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina and coordination to perform duties Must be a team player and able to work well with others Nesco Resource is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
