Staff Accountant - AN

Great company looking to add a Staff Accountant focusing with strong Multi Entity experience. You will assist with Reconciliations, Budget & Forecast, and Audit. This role will have a hybrid schedule and the applicant must reside in San Diego!Responsibilities:Support monthly financial reporting including but not limited to preparing various schedules: general ledger trial balance, account reconciliation status, and variance analysis.Prepare bank reconciliations for all designated properties or trust accounts.Record monthly journal entries for all designated properties.Prepare monthly financial statements.Prepare audit schedules as assigned; Prepare annual tax schedules utilizing final audit data.Support Audit Project Management and work directly with auditors.Support annual budget process including consolidation of budget inputs.Support forecast process including consolidation of inputs from business units and summary reporting.Will share reports with management/executives.Experience/Qualifications:Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accountant position Manufacturing, Biotech, or Consumer Goods industries preferred Financial Reporting Experience (Financial Statements, Variance Analysis, GL Trial Balance, Budget & Forecast)Public accounting is also preferred.Advanced user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Proven fast learning capabilityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated capacity for independent judgment and sound decision making in a diverse and complex organizational environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
