Senior Underwriter - CLC

Location:202 Second Street NE - Canton, Ohio 44702This position is Mobile by Design - a combination of home office and work in the Canton, OH location.Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM plus an occasional 11:30AM to 8:30PM shift and an occasional Saturday 9AM to 3PM shift.The Sr Underwriter manages and develops unique lending programs/ products offered through the Consumer Loan Center via traditional and non-traditional avenues. Decision loan applications for Key Bank Consumer Loan CenterReview the credit bureau and credit worthiness of the application while adhering to the stated turnaround time.Analyze financial data including personal tax returns; pay stub,W-2''s, pension/award letters, business tax returns, K-1''s, personal financial statement, hoi etc.Review and analyze more complex loan requests requiring additional critical processingMake and take inbound phone calls to help answer questions on current credit applications or general lending questionsEnsure that rates and products are within Key''s policyReview ALS and HOGAN information as requiredReview additional documentation including trust agreements, POA''s, divorce decrees, etc. when needed.Review appraisals/title work as requiredQueue management to ensure 1st in 1st out process is adheredAccurate and concise messages to Key Centers & Telesales/Sales SupportPhone & email communication processed in a professional and productive methodThorough review of all information provided from applicant for loan processingCompliance with all regulatory requirements, including accurate GMI reporting and Dodd Frank proceduresReview application for Policy Exceptions/Overrides when warrantedAssigned report reviewTesting and Compliance review as assignedAttend monthly meetings as requiredEnsure all Clean Desk procedures are followedCompliance Testing completed as required/assignedParticipation in Underwriter TrainingFID/ACAPS Install TestingAssist in providing underwriting demonstrations or shadowingBe an active leader in the Continuous Improvement process Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment.
