You will be responsible for for managing several key areas within Supply Chain including customer service, inventory control, warehouse operations and supply chain projects. This role will work in coordination with planning, purchasing and the warehouse to ensure excellent customer service and on time delivery.WHAT YOU''LL DOReceives, verifies and processes sales orders and stock transport orders (STO) for internal and external customers. Researches and resolves issues with orders received, correct as necessary and enter into SAP for processing.Administers the return of products through SAP as required via the issuance of Return Material Authorizations and in accordance with company policy.Researches and prepares invoicing corrections when required to ensure timely payment of customer invoices. Monitors and communicates issues to management regarding late payment municates all inventory shortages and shipping status to management as required and provides information on projected inventory availability for backordered items.Collaborates with production planning and purchasing to ensure customer requirements are understood and to identify and remove obstacles that may prevent on time delivery.Reports inventory status versus safety stock targets and communicate plans and initiatives to achieve and maintain desired stocking levels.Provides direction to warehouse personnel on daily shipment requirements via processing of customer sales orders and interplant stock transport orders.Continues to improve reporting data and access to data across the organization including report automation, schedule adherence and tracking.Creates business case justifications for supply chain projects as it pertains to planning, production, and inventory.Provides support role for all projects involving production, procurement, and planning which includes: IT initiatives, process improvement, and Lean projects.Continually identifies opportunities for improvement within the supply chain function.Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory plies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU''LL BRINGRequiredBachelor''s degree (BA/BS) OR Master''s degree (MS) in Supply Chain Management, Operations or other related fieldAn equivalent combination of work/educational experience minimum of 5 years''Preferred5 years'' experience In a Supply Chain Strategy or Supply Chain Analyst role.Familiar with Business Objects, SAP BW, or Cognos reporting.Ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level.Ability to communicate clearly to the executive level.SAP/APO/DP/SNP experience in a production environment preferred.WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
