Generation, analysis, reviewing, and communication of financial data, including accounting records and research of transactions and reports2. Assist in month-end close process, including preparation of account reconciliations and audit work papers3. Assist in quarterly and annual entries and filings4. Perform regular and recurring accounting functions and documentation5. Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company6. Research and collect data to be used in transactions7. Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies for general ledger functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines8. Provides accounting assistance to department managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs9. Acts to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposesRequirements:1. Bachelor''s Degree in accounting or related field2. 5+ years of accounting experience3. Excellent verbal and written communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills4. Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and within a team5. Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software6. Must have large ERP system experience, accounting systems/software experience, Great Plains preferred7.
