Travel Required: 50% + As FIELD SERVICE CONTROLS TECHNICIAN you will be a key member of our team supporting the repair and installation of our custom solutions. Build relationships with our customers and make friends throughout the country and world! You will be the front-line representing RedViking as you troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on custom equipment we have designed and built for some of the world''s largest companies in the Automotive, Commercial and Aerospace industries. Work on one-of-a-kind industrial machinery such as test stands, AGV''s, and assembly equipment that assist our customers in the assembly and testing of their own products. We are project-based so the work and travel will vary. You will not do the same thing every day. Some travel will be same-day in a local area, other times it may be for a week or more domestically as well as extended international travel. Generous compensation and per diem. What we are looking for:Degree, courses or certification an Electrical discipline or equivalent experience with industrial manufacturing applicationsExperienced in design, execution, and modification of PLC platforms: Siemens / AB PLC controllers Schematic reading and understanding 24v - 220v panel and system wiring Willingness to travel 50-70% both domestically and internationally Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment problemsBasic mechanical interpretation, diagnosis, and repair a plusHPL cross-training / familiarity a plusBasic knowledge of Word and ExcelAbility to represent RedViking in a professional manner in front of customersWell organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and time management skillsMust have excellent oral and written communication skillsDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, International Traffic in Arms Regulations require that applicants are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and do not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future
