The Digital Manager is responsible for leading the entire digital department staff to create a safe, high-quality, and fast paced production work environment. The Digital Manager also develops opportunities and plans necessary for digital business growth. The Napa Digital Business unit is considered a business within a business, and the Digital Manager is responsible for most aspects of sales and front-end activities while being fully responsible for production, finishing, and shipping. While maintaining a sharp focus on all Digital activities, the Manager is also a key leader within the Napa Operations and is expected to participate on the Plant Leadership team and collaborate well with other departments. Primary Responsibilities Model the Corporate Values and Principles: Conducts oneself in an appropriate and business-like and professional manner, building strong relationships both internally and stills a high performance, people-driven culture, providing high expectations and high support. Safety: Instill a sense of self-responsibility for safety among associates. Assure the safety of the associates and safe use of the equipment. Support the safety processes and programs of the Plant. Member of Napa Safety and Health Committee for the plant. Quality: Drives team to focus on high quality work with minimal rejections. Uses MCC quality KPI''s and training skills matrix to uncover training priorities in the department. Member of the Napa Training Committee. Customer Service: Leads a dedicated Customer Service team responsible for customer satisfaction, project management, new business onboarding, and estimating. Customer Support: Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visit; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. Operations: Support the growth of the digital department by developing a strategy plan that will enhance the current operational capability and capacity through additional equipment, personnel and continuous improvement. Financial: Responsible for the Digital P&L and expected to drive Sales and Profit growth while maintaining world class performance. OEE: Utilizes Overall Equipment Effectiveness to drive production. Lean Manufacturing:Participate in continuous improvement/Kaizen teams. Develop and support a data-driven culture of continuous improvement. Work to develop process improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve quality. People: In coordination with Human Resources and Plant Leadership as required, accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions. Marketing:Works with marketing team to bring new innovations to the marketplace. Keeps department offerings on the cutting edge of digital technology capabilities. E-Commerce:Works with MCC Label Direct team to provide fast tracked solutions for E-Commerce orders. Digital Fast Track:Member of the MCC Digital Fast Track team and supports with regular updates on lead times, OEE, GMP''s and best practices. Education and Experience: •Minimum of three plus years of relevant manufacturing experience, with proven ability to manage multiple managers and departments. •Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing experience needed. •Understanding of color theory preferred but not required •Knowledge of HP Indigo & ABG Digicon technology preferred but not required Required Skills/Abilities: •Packaging or Printing knowledge •ERP (LabelTraxx) internal and external reporting on acontinuous basis. •Raw materials management •Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent. The ability to create and customize presentations required. Must be proficient at creating and working with Excel spreadsheets. •Ability toarticulate, clear, persuasive, and passionate in the spoken and written word. •Proven track record of leading and coordinating multiple projects. •College level math, including statistical analysis. Working knowledge of budgets, estimates, and forecasting. •Reasoning Ability. Rational, logical, fact-driven decision making.
