Adecco is now hiring for a Project Manager with a local client in Austin, TX. The Project Manager will perform essential duties with pay starting at $60.00/hour, plus available overtime. In this role, you will work closely with the client''s US Payroll Director, IT Project Manager, and the vendor''s project team to lead a time and payroll transformation project implementing a modern solution and enabling a managed services model for time and payroll processing and support. In this role your specific focus will be on the payroll and finance operations aspects of the project. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the client payroll team to plan and execute the successful implementation of time, absence, and payroll solutions as well as 3rd party managed services for processing and support Liaise with the project team to define key milestones, detailed activities from project planning to post go live and required resources from both the client and the vendor Partner with the client and the vendor''s resources to assign tasks and ensure they are completed in accordance with the project plan and requirements Coordinate with the client''s Project Management Office, and assist in the completion of all required project deliverables and documentation through all phases of the project Assist in the timely collection of required project deliverables from the client''s Finance and IT SMEs Work with the project''s leaders to identify and mitigate risks in order to ensure the project executes on time and on budget Work with all project team members to identify and document issues, as well as monitor their resolution, as to minimize the impact to the project plan and/or budget Regularly communicate the implementation timeline, status, and pending actions to the core implementation team, stakeholders, and the executive leadership team Coordinate with Payroll SMEs to ensure that all information related to current process, requirements, policy, etc are provided to the provider Coordinate with IT SMEs to make sure all technical, functional, integration, and security/privacy requirements are fulfilled Coordinate with the project team and other SMEs on change management activities Requirements: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent work experience Strong project management experience in finance, payroll, time (workforce management), or HCM Ability to understand time and absence management, payroll, and related areas such as tax and garnishments Excellent communication skills Demonstrated team organizing and leadership experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams and Outlook Prior experience managing Time and Payroll transformation projects is preferred Prior experience with payroll business process outsourcing or managed services projects is preferred Familiarity with any of the following is preferred: Workday (HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll); UKG/Kronos (Workforce Central, Dimensions, Ultimate Pro); ADP Enterprise Familiarity and/or certification in PMP (waterfall) or Workday''s implementation project methodology is preferred What''s in this for you?
