Express Employment Professionals is seeking multiple kitchen positions for a locally owned food distribution company! Chef De Cuisine: Chef de Cuisine is responsible for delivering an exceptional high-quality food experience while also managing a profitable food operation. The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for delivering consistently outstanding dishes while implementing safe food handling practices, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and managing food sales, food and supplies cost, and labor Sous Chef: The Culinary Sous Chef oversees all culinary staff, maintains product standards, enforces operating procedures, and ensures consistent daily operations. Sous Chef would need to be knowledgeable about cooking techniques & procedures, systems operations, staffing strategies, as well as safety and sanitation guidelines. Lead Cook: The Lead Cook assists the Chef and Sous Chef carry out the daily needs of the establishment. While working on the line the lead cook has the authority over his/her staff which include cooks, prep cooks, and utility cooks. The lead cook would need to be knowledgeable about cooking techniques, procedures, systems operations, staffing strategies, as well as general kitchen guidelines. The lead cook oversees the kitchen when the chef and sous chef are not present. Kitchen Prep/Cook: Kitchen Prep/Cook is a production person who will be helping prepare read-to-eat products. Position will entail cutting fruits and vegetables and helping to execute company recipes. The candidate is expected to multitask in order to successfully complete duties in a timely manner. Pastry Baker/Prep: The Pastry Baker/Prep will be stocking items pertaining to their area, maintain company standards, follow procedures and ensure consistent daily operations. Baker/Prep will be mixing, scaling, and scooping different pastry products, ensure that food comes out in high quality and timely fashion. Utility/Dishwasher: Utility/Dishwasher will be responsible for keeping the kitchen and pastry departments clean, sanitary and in an orderly fashion. Dishwasher will be using proper cleaning techniques and ensure the facility is safe and sanitary. Will be working in both hot and cold environments and comfortable standing for duration of shift. Requirements : Minimum one (1) year of experience in the kitchen Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for long periods of time Comfortable working in Hot/Cold environments
