Staff Accountant Summary: Our global, employee-focused hospitality client, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Staff Accountant to grow their team! Location: Charlotte, NC - Airport Area - Currently REMOTE will be transitioning into a HYBRID work schedule Compensation: $60,000 Responsibilities: Ensure monthly profit and loss statements are an accurate reflection of the results of the period Ensure accounting conforms to the Group Accounting Policies and Procedures manual based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Use all available tools to maintain highest degree of internal control possible Balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balance and are reviewed and reconciled monthly Ensure compliance to contract terms and commitments including investments, commissions, profit splits etc. Analyze profit and loss statement and balance sheet for possible misstatement/defalcation Prevent earnings management through appropriate use and validation of journal entries Create and maintain day by day and closing checklists for all operations Maintain accurate contact information on all field internal customers Qualifications: Bachelor''s in Accounting or Finance Minimum one year accounting experience Working knowledge of SAP financial module Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines Company Benefits & Perks: FREE Starbucks, breakfast, and lunch daily on-site with a variety of options! 401K : 50% potential company match on the $1 up to 6% - company pays $0.35 on the $1 up to 6% with the option to provide an additional $0.15 (which typically pays out!)
