Overview:Serves as a consultant to business partners while expanding Tech Data''s presence in the defined geographical territory. Protects market share by developing and maintaining relationships with resellers.Essential Duties & Responsibilities RequiredTravel up to 75%; Required to travel outside of HQ region 20% of the time to grow revenue Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Deliver business value through evaluation and interpretation of customer financial statementsLeverage Tech Data value-add services. *Facilitate and conduct regular reviews of business performance.Manage portfolios with minimum annual revenues of $350M *Generate and execute an account plan to ensure strategic and financial targets are metUse Tech Data account plan tool and collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersExpands Tech Data''s presence and market share in the defined geographical territoryIdentifies sales opportunities independently or through a collaborative effort with Tech Data team members and the business partner communityManages customer expectations *Introduce and successfully position TD value-add services *Conceptualizes and drives the creation of in territory partner eventsTakes a consultative approach to help vendors identify new revenue opportunities or transform existing business modelsProven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales results quarter over quarterGain and command respect of the executives on Tech Data''s top revenue driving accounts with a high degree of business acumen.Conducts a minimum of ten face-to-face customer visits and three vendor partner meetings per week.Resolves and/or refers customer problems to the appropriate departments.Develops and maintains solid understanding of reseller''s business model.Identify sales opportunities within new and existing accounts.Demonstrates general awareness of territorial opportunities through routine interactions with business and vendor partners.Takes a leadership role in coordinating cross departmental resources to carry out account plan.Displays proven leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, direction, support and coaching to the inside sales team members, customer and peersUtilizes business partner relationships, financial analysis/data and market knowledge to close new business, and grow customer baseDevelops and maintains influential business partner relationships with an effort to produce and maintain a collaborative relationship.Identifies stakeholders for current business, fostering positive and frequent communicationPerforms additional duties as assignedMeets attendance and punctuality standardsQualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Bachelor''s degree strongly preferred4-6 years of industry/direct customer experience; 3 years of large account management experienceAble to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.Able to create and conduct formal presentations. Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others. Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure.
