Job Title: Android Mobile Application Engineer (High to Med-level Opportunities)Location: Fully RemoteStatus: Long-term ContractOur client, a high-end mobile application studio connected to a global branding, PR and advertising conglomerate, is looking to add several high - mid level contract Android Mobile Application Engineers to their fully remote development team.Everyone is expected to work efficiently and independently, while also cooperating within a larger team environment. Our client works with easily recognizable brands, so the pressure is high to produce at the highest level. As an Android Software Engineer, you will be responsible fordevelopingand supporting Android mobile-based solutions for our clients and company. You will work on project teams to deliver complex world-class products and services with high-quality code. Requirements: Experience developing Android apps using Kotlin Ability to work with UX/UI designers to build the best possible experience Experience developing Android apps for a company or on your own Experience developing professional-level software Deep understanding of the platform Deep understand ing of hardware requirements Develop an example project as part of the interviewing process Provide screen shots of existing apps that you worked on including links or information on those apps Experience working remotely as a part of a highly-functioning team Have apps posted to Google Play Experience building custom Android Views Familiarity with modern Android libraries (Navigation Components, Data Binding, etc.) Outline the types of apps you feel most comfortable making (we develop a variety of apps and want to know where your strengths lie) Responsibilities: Develop new Android apps Maintain existing Android apps Manage your own time Manage your own part of projects Some Architecting Ability to train others Ability to work directly with management to help build the Android development practice Bonus Points:Mac userExpectations:Working independently with minimal guidance and supervision on highly complex, technically advanced projectsHaving a solid professional development background with an understanding of Software Architecture and DesignDeveloping cutting-edge projects writing high-quality codeProviding technical guidance, leadership, and oversight on assigned projectsHelping grow the technical knowledge and skills of other developersBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
