Specimen Processor I

Adecco Medical & Science is hiring immediately for Specimen Processing jobs at our client site in Elmwood Park, NJ. As a Specimen Processer, you will handle patient medical records and data entry into these records and maintain departmental production goals to ensure the flow to the labs is consistent. You will be responsible for the receiving and triaging of all COVID-19 patient specimens. You will efficiently and accurately assign and label each patient''s specimen with an accession number and enter all pertinent patient, sample, test, and facility information into the LIMS database. IMPORTANT! Please note that that you will be working in a COVID-19 Lab handling patient specimen containers. Responsibilities: Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment Compliance Procedure. Comply with both corporate and department policies and procedures. Escalate any/all issues or questions through appropriate channels. Escalate any/all issues or questions to a Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
