Reviews Wastewater/Water public plans (Projects within Right-of-Way and easements) for compliance with the City Infrastructure Design Manual, TCEQ Rules and Regulations and/or International Building Codes. Communicates with developers, their consulting engineers and other representatives. Investigates or responds to inquiries from technical personnel and the general public on design criteria and project specifications. Performs other duties as assignedThis is a Grant funded position subject to cancelation when funds are depleted and/or contract period ends.WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking and standing. May require walking on rough surfaces during inspections and investigations. This is a Houston Public Works Emergency Management position at the Tier III Level.
