Youth After School Program Facilitator

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a full-time youth after school program facilitator for an organization located in NE Portland, working in a department that strengthens families by providing affordable housing, homeownership support, economic advancement and educational opportunity. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30am-6:30pmPay Rate: $19.50-$21.50 per hour After School Youth Program Facilitator: Full time, temp-to-hireJob duties:Act as first point of contact for inquiries regarding the organization''s programs and servicesAdvance the youth services program, address the raising challenges, improve equity and inclusion, increase the involvement and participation in the youth development programPromote a culture of respect, inclusiveness, and appreciation of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and valuesManage daily program operations, leading & providing supervision of staff and or volunteersEnsure goals and objectives of the program are implementedProvide outreach and technical assistance to program participants service providers and delegate agenciesServe as the primary program liaison between the agency & communityAdministrative Assistant Requirements:Associates degree or two years of equivalent work experienceTwo years of mentoring youth, social work or similar environment.Excellent typing, data entry, and computer skillsBilingual Spanish/English, including conversational and writing skills are requiredMust have excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to foster trust, inform and empower individuals servedDemonstrates cultural competence and sensitivityMust be detail oriented, accurate and have strong organizational skillsAbility to collaborate, build relationships to achieve positive work outcomes
