Great opportunity to work closely with the CFO and grow as the company continues to grow.Why join us?Competitive $$ Brand new office!Diverse responsibilitiesJob Details Work with CFO to develop key metrics to monitor performance and report to senior management. Provide support to personnel in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, IT, and operations. Assist in the maintenance of Canopy financial statement templates to ensure timely and accurate reporting to management. Maintain general ledger account mapping in Paycom payroll system and prepare weekly/bi-weekly payroll entries. Assist in the development and/or improvement of financial and operational reporting processes. Work with accounts payable to ensure proper tracking, reporting and remittance of sales & use tax for each applicable jurisdiction. Manage information in Canopy for existing vendors, set up new vendors and prepare and distribute annual Form 1099s. Work with CFO to prepare and update financial budgets and forecasts. Maintain records of fixed assets, including acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals. Collecting and analyzing data about a company''s operational costs Setting standard costs of manufactured goods Developing and analyzing cost standards Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc. Performing account reconciliations Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management Recommending changes to the company''s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data Managing the company''s balance sheet and accounting books Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure Ad hoc reporting, as required.
