As the Senior Manager, Diversity and Inclusion, you will report to the Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and develop, lead, and implement strategic objectives that enable all of XPO''s workforce to perform their best work. You''ll drive critical focus areas for assigned business units aligned to the overall D&I strategy for the company and champion programs to ensure an inclusive people experience while partnering with L&D to lead our D&I Learning and Development, advise senior business leaders of our major business unit to focus on embedding D&I throughout their organizations, as well as serve as an liaison to Human Resource Leadership.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and the opportunity to participate in a company incentive plan.What you''ll do on a typical day:In partnership with the CDO, partner with business unit leaders across HR and functional groups to lead D&I initiates within the organizationLead enterprise-wide D&I programs by planning, developing, and directing strategic and operational efforts to help the company more effectively recruit, develop, engage, and retain our diverse workforceAct as a consultant and advisor, with deep D&I expertise, to advise senior leaders in the organization, as well as HR, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across an array of operational functionsEngage in developing effective global programs as well as improve existing processes and create solutions to break down barriers for inclusion and support a great place to work for allRaise the capability of the organization to further diversity and inclusion efforts; in partnership with L&D provide thought leadership in the design and implementation of a diversity and inclusion learning and capability plan to enable the broader organization to have an impact in this spaceWork in concert with the D&I community other partners to build a strong internal and external reputation as a great place to work for all and cultivate a strong external network of appropriate D&I connectionsEnsure preparation of diversity metrics/measurements on a regular frequency and communicates progress against plans, reinforcing accountability throughout the organizationHelp build, maintain, and protect XPO''s brand equity and reputation among key diverse segmentsWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you''ll need:Bachelor''s degree or equivalent related work or military experience5 years'' experience in Human Resources or D&I including managing programs in a Corporate environmentCurrent experience working with diversity, inclusion in a corporation, including work with employee resource groups, data collection/analysis/interpretation, engagement, and retention.It''d be great if you also have:7 years'' experience in Human Resources or D&I including managing programs in a Corporate environmentIn-depth knowledge of and experience with core diversity and inclusion concepts and practices as well as strong capability in organizational changeTrack record of fostering, driving, and implementing innovative ideas with broad impactDemonstrated strategic partnering skills and the ability to work across functions and communities to develop ideas and deliver outcomesDemonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the planExperience in translating external and internal trends into innovative practicesProven capability in designing and managing various employee-centric programs that promote diversity, inclusion and belongingBe part of something big.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
