Responsibilities for Forklift Shipping and Receiving jobs include: Ensure long prong, forklift and reach trucks daily inspections are performed; including charging and changing the batteries Keeps track and maintains records on incoming and outgoing parts as assigned by supervisor. Load and unload containers Perform daily unloading and staging of all inbound materials Supplies parts and other material proactively to the production and shipping areas as needed in a safe manner Performs daily and other required checks on powered fork trucks, etc and documents results and follows through with maintenance reporting Complies with all company, OSHA and other appropriate regulations. Concerned primarily with the safe operations of the powered industrial truck and ensures that pedestrians have the right of way Keeps track and maintains records on incoming and outgoing parts, coils, etc as assigned by supervisor. Inputs information into computer when required Supplies parts and other material proactively to the production and shipping areas as needed in a safe manner Directs movement of materials to appropriate areas: shipping platform, receiving, storage, etc. Performs other duties and assignments as deemed necessary or appropriate Preferred Qualifications: 2-5 years'' experience driving a forklift or powered industrial truck preferred High school diploma/GED equivalent Experience with overhead cranes preferred Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision plans Paid Holidays 401(k) Plan Skills Training Weekly pay with direct deposit and pay card The starting pay rate for Forklift Shipping and Receiving jobs is $14.50/hr.
