***Attention amazing opportunity for a Sr Analyst*** Adecco is assisting one of the global leaders in the Fragrance, Hair Care and Cosmetics industry. This is a direct hire opportunity for Sr. Analyst, located in NYC. This position will manage specific P&L through monthly budgeting process and performing month-end close. Role includes monitoring and supporting the global marketing team via analysis of business results, analytics, monthly reporting, and other finance support. This job opportunity will support the goals of the Brand Finance team and Global Marketing teams in areas of Finance and Accounting. Responsibilities: Provide financial support to business partners, including activities such as month-end close, providing oversight on transactional finance processes executed by business partners and assisting with budgeting and forecasting Prepare and ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the month-end close, monthly reports, prepaids, accruals, balance sheet reviews, forecasts, annual budget, and strategic plan preparation Drive and cultivate collaborative relationships with the business partners to facilitate an understanding of key business drivers, and incorporate such drivers in current forecasts and outlooks Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity for improvement in process and implementing methodologies that drive positive change. Lead change initiatives within the team and foster a culture of continuous improvement Prepare various ad-hoc analytical reports and other presentations to aid senior management in decision making Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various Requirements: Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field 3-5 years of business experience with private industry and/or public accounting experience preferred Strong analytical, finance, accounting, and communication skills Strong technology skills and working knowledge/understanding of business finance platforms (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint.); knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is a plus Well versed in Month End Close process and reporting requirements Experience with ERP Systems; preferably SAP or Oracle Ability to analyze financial performance and obtain valid explanations for variances Ability to deal with diverse levels of financial and operating personnel in a multi-national organization Ability to work independently, under general direction, and develop creative solutions to problems Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & communication skills are all required to meet strict deadlines and manage other projects Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn If you meet the above qualifications and would like to apply for this position, please click APPLY NOW and upload your most current resume or you may email your resume to our recruiter, Karen Thompson, at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] .
