Mailroom Machine Operator - Memphis, TN

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Mailroom Machine Operator to work at our client located Memphis, TN. Hours: 11AM to 8PM (1 hour lunch, 2 breaks) Duration: Indefinite to permanent Job Description Machine operators set up and operate various mailing equipment. This position focuses on inkjet, inserting, and water sealing machines. Mailing operators are responsible for machine set-up and operation following guidelines as set in the job ticket. Load and unload material from the machines, maintain quality standards, perform scheduled maintenance, and oversee any helpers assigned during the run as well as all other duties as assigned. These machines include, Pitney Bowes Postal Meter and other mailing equipment as needed. Applicants should have at least 2 years'' experience operating mailing equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintaining set quality standards, strictly adhere to processes and company SOPs • Read and understand work order completely. Visually inspect all work order materials against job specifications and report all problems to supervisor. • Comply with all company and postal service requirements • Efficiently setting up machinery and performing all mailing operations • Adjusting machines during run • Once the job is running the operator must work independently and maintain consistent quality through the run • Handling job related materials EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent IMPORTANT: This Mailroom machine operator job is being recruited for by Adecco''s National Recruitment Center, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
