Position Description Title: Abuse Operations & Analytics Project Overview: Work to identify emerging fraud & abuse areas and assess transactions. This role provides high exposure to a variety of teams and helps to incubate new special projects with the team lead. The ideal candidate is curious, analytically oriented, able to learn new tools and analysis types, and can sort through individual cases & investigations to provide leveled up insights. We help develop engineering and product strategy, operations, capabilities, and tooling. Job Description Work directly under operations lead to identify and resolve inefficiencies, incubate new processes, and scale new processes Incubate new processes to scale & streamline business programs for fraud mitigation, applying product excellence principles to our processes. Ensure efficient and effective mitigation and implementation end-to-end, driving toward scaled support across product, eng, and analytics teams. Develop innovative monitoring and reporting solutions, automated whenever possible. Appropriately triage and respond to both partner and internal escalations in a time-sensitive manner. Provide coverage for escalation management. Ensure process, data, and policy connectivity between related initiatives. Translate cross functional input and fraud & abuse incidents into insights for the team. Regularly track and upload data labels to centralized efforts (and figure out the most efficient way to do this). Develop clear documentation and content to serve as a resource across teams. Track fraud & abuse mitigation program data, aggregate metrics and provide regular reporting. Working Style Extremely detail-oriented while doing ongoing tasks. Have strong data organization skills and research skills. Desire to better understand or dig into data & engineering processes to help drive platform success. Enjoy working with a team and co-developing new programs. Ability to ''take a pass'' independently at content development, look for existing examples, and suggest new solutions. Proactive attitude, taking initiative to develop new recommendations and experiment with new processes. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Conduct data analysis, investigations for fraud & abuse cases and translate into insights & implications Develop innovative data, monitoring and reporting solutions, automated whenever possible. Work with product strategy & engineering team to define next sets for tooling Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory Data reporting Process improvement Data entry YOE: 3-5 years Research exp with fraud/abuse cases and investigations including data analysis Able to work independently and proactively Desired Desktop research, trust & safety, organizations management, product knowledge, automation, fraud, customer support, solutions support.
