Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will support the Controller with the month end close and reporting cycle by assisting with accounting entries, financial analysis, standard reporting and data requests. The successful person in this role will be able to assist with special projects aimed at improving tracking and improving aspects of business performance Position Requirements Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable subsidiary ledger daily. Perform daily activities including but not limited to applying payments, invoicing, updating vendor or customer accounts, enter payables, and applying proper due dates. Call customers for collections or discuss with vendors issues with invoices. Perform standard accounting entries required to close the period, including payroll, standard accruals, fixed assets, purchasing cards, travel expense and other general accounting duties. Cross train in all daily accounting tasks to keep coverage consistent from month to month. Reconcile balance sheet accounts that other employees maintain or assist with other finance reconciliations. Support manufacturing operations with data requests; Provide analytical reviews of accounts and costing activities as directed by the Controller. Education And Experience Bachelor''s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in accounting role preferred 4+ years of experience is required.
