Senior Product Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Will lead strategic planning initiatives pertaining to the products and establish the overall product roadmapParticipate in the process of generating new ideas for the products that align with the company''s goals and growth strategyWork with all internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product Management, Software Development, Business Development, Project Management and others) to ensure their objectives for the products are considered, vetted, prioritized and implementedWill create clear and effective technical specifications for the productsWill ensure company''s international business interests are considered and implemented in the products.Develop and implement ways to monetize access to the products, as well as functionality inside of the products. Develop reports that track the products'' profit and loss metric.Work with the Software Development team to plan development sprints and perform product testing.Work with the Business Development and Project Management teams to gain feedback from a cross-section of users. Ensure feedback is organized and considered in helping align the future products'' direction.Assist Product Management and Marketing teams with generating, organizing and maintaining technical content for the products.Develop internal and external partnerships that support the success of the products.Develop and train the organization and external user base to effectively use the products. Create documentation and references to ensure consistent and effective training practices.Contribute to other projects and plans, not specifically noted, to ensure the Company reaches its financial objectives.REQUIREMENTS:Candidate shall have a strong product management background including five (5) years of experience in product development; experience in the electric/telecom utility industry or development of web portals is a plus. Candidates are encouraged to submit a brief portfolio of product management experience with their application.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to speak clearly and confidently to customers. Must be able to write technical documents using proper style and grammar. Must be able to speak effectively in front of groups and communicate effectively to utility industry executives.Present and prior responsibilities must substantiate leadership and self-motivational qualities.Ability to work effectively with multiple internal teams outside of Product Management (Business Development, Operations, Contracts, Software Development, Senior Management, etc.).Willingness to travel occasionally and work varied hours to achieve desired results.Embrace core values of the mitment to supporting all Company policies.
