Responsibilities Weatherford is hiring for Maintenance Technician II in our Colorado Springs facility. This is a hands on, rewarding role where you will be performing maintenance for the oil and gas industry. The Maintenance Technician II will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the ply with Company''s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.Visually inspects and tests machinery.Troubleshoots, dismantles, repairs and / or replaces machinery mechanical or electrical components Dismantles and repairs machine.Cleans and lubricates machine.Services and maintains hydraulic, gas or pneumatic piping systems.Performs all work with strict adherence to federal and local regulations or standardsInstalls new equipment as requiredRepairs or installs building lightingMaintains a clean, orderly work environment.Prioritizes repair requirements Qualifications High School Education or equivalent3-5 years'' experience as a maintenance technician Technician''s certification in mechanical and electrical repairGood verbal communication skills Ability to follow oral instructions Able to work closely with fellow employees as a team player on a professional level.Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams including blueprintsPreferred:2 years supervisory / team leader experienceBasic understanding of mathematics Familiar with hand tools and inspection devices Ability to drive a forklift Understand basic trouble-shooting techniquesSalary Range: $18 to $25 Hour (from ICIMS req) plus any additional upliftsOffers will typically be made in the bottom half of the listed range. Weatherford takes into consideration a candidate''s education, training, and experience, as well as the position''s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
