A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATING ROOM NURSE / CIRCULATOR As an Operating Room Nurse / Circulator, you are an essential member of the surgical team. You serve as a patient advocate and safety monitor, observing the surgery and ensuring that no aspect of patient care is missed. If anything goes wrong, you are quick to respond! You provide compassionate and competent care to patients prior to, during, and after the surgical procedure. Your communication and collaborative skills are essential as you work with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You keep concise, accurate, up-to-date, and complete records. You enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a great team and feel good about providing excellent care for surgical patients during a vulnerable time! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OPERATING ROOM NURSE / CIRCULATOR Diploma in nursing and a valid state license Experience as an operating room nurse (circulating) Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures Problem-solving and critical thinking Are you a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills?
