SUMMARY:The Compliance Analyst II will provide guidance and monitoring to ensure that the company complies with state and federal laws and regulations. Also, this is achieved by extensively researching laws and regulations and communicating effective compliance measures to Executive Management.MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyzes, advises and communicates new/amended laws or regulations to management.Analyzes regulatory changes and the impact those changes will have on the company. Analyzes existing processes and procedures to determine gaps. Leads any compliance initiatives necessary in implementing changes.Maintains good working relationship with Branch Managers and serve as a liaison between Compliance and management.Oversees the efforts of risk areas in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes to minimize compliance risks.Plans, develops, and executes compliance reviews, from scope to final product with minimal management involvement. Analyze findings, make recommendations and communicate the findings and recommendations to various levels of management.Prepares formal written reports and track any issues to completion. Complete and maintain adequate work papers to support findings.Determines emerging compliance risks using a proactive approach and forward thinking analysis. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or equivalent education and related training from an accredited institution4+ years of Financial Services compliance experienceIn-depth compliance knowledge of the following: BSA/AML, Lending, Privacy, Fair Lending and compliance risk managementExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact with all levels of managementAbility to demonstrate and be recognized as having strong knowledge and leadership skillsAbility to manage implementation of regulatory requirementsIndependent thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisionsGood working knowledge of standard software applications such as Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work with little supervisionPREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Operational and regulatory knowledge of financial institutions (banks, loan companies, finance companies preferred)Experience using Fair Lending Magic or comparable Fair Lending softwareNote: This position will be located in Gilbert, AZ, Lawrenceville, GA or Covington, GA but is not available for remote/virtual locations.
