The Lead Audio Visual Installation Technician will perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors and rack fabrication.Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsUse hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasksAssist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiringProjector and screen support structure installationsTest point to point functionality of systemsField installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capabilityInstall and maintain audio visual equipment including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems (VTC), microphones and speakers.Provide excellent equipment services to meet client expectations.Perform equipment storage and transportation activities in safe and secure manner.Perform inventory management of equipment, wirings, and accessories to avoid any shortages.Setup and operate audio visual equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings and conferences.Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.Identify and resolve equipment malfunctionsAssemble and disassemble audio visual equipment as needed.Test equipment to ensure they are in good and safe working conditions.Prioritize and complete work orders accurately and timely.Provide technical assistance to other Technicians when required.Maintain the work room and store room clean, safe and organized.Generate expense reports including labor and material costs for terested in hearing more?
