Job Description:The Patient Service Associate will work closely with patients and medical professionals while utilizing great customer service skills; multi-task while professionally answering our busy phone system, greet, and schedule patients. They will consistently demonstrate proficient data entry skills, utilize knowledge of insurance billing and self pay collections, maintain confidentiality in a professional Manner, demonstrate efforts to maintain and improve job specific competencies, and perform other duties as assigned. Answers and coordinates phone calls including Script usageLanguage LinePaging systemTransferring callsATC queuePatient Account queueNurse Triage queueAppropriately Recording Telephone encounters via ECW system Obtain Medical release as needed for patient requested formsConfirm appointments with patientsVerify insurancesComplete knowledge of eCw including: Updating pharmacy information for patientsFaxing info from eCwManaging Recalls via eCwObtain and Scan required documents into eCw Complete knowledge of Centricity including: Register Patient in with all required fieldsUpdate patient informationPrint profiles, Schedules, and recall listsPlace patients on recall list, take patients off, and attach appointmentsOpen Daily BatchPost PaymentsBalance out end of day for personal batchCase Creation Payment management Use of Credit card machine, including end of day reportingBalance out end of day Patient Schedules Respond appropriately to agitated patientsReview Schedules daily to ensure accuracy and fill appointment opportunities May perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary QualificationsLanguagesSPANISHEducationAssociatesWork ExperienceCustomer Service/Customer RelationsPatient Services/Reception We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
