Director of Business ResilienceLocation: Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah (remote work available in these states)The Director if Business Resilience is responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing the Cambia''s business continuity management program. The program includes plans for continuation or resumption of business process and the technology that supports them and the incident management structure to successfully manage events which either already have or have the potential to cause a disruption to normal business operations. These plans include teams at various levels of the organization that are trained the to manage events.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with all functional business areas to develop and maintain a corporate wide BCP program that addresses business recovery, technology recovery and emergency response and incident management.Work with leaders to assign Business Continuity planners and IT Disaster Recovery planners and developing effective working relationships with them to document business and technology recovery plansBuild relationships with other risk areas to achieve common goals to reduce the probability and impact of risks including Physical Security, Facilities, Information Security, Supplier Risk, Internal Audit and othersProvide regular updates on program compliance to senior leadership and the Audit Committee of the BoardEngage with senior leadership on response to significant eventsDevelop Incident Management Plans and train teams to respondConduct regular validation exercises for technology plans, business plans, and incident management plansLead the Threat Assessment TeamDevelop and maintain overarching cyber-incident management plan including engagement with external vendor for services to membersWork with Communications team to develop crisis communication plans including message maps for potential eventsMaintain Business Resilience tools such as Fusion, xMatters, and Cambia Safe and provide training to plannersAct at Incident Manager to facilitate and support the execution of the plans at the time of a crisis eventRequired Qualifications:Knowledge of the businessInterpersonal skillsPresentation skillsCertified Continuity Planner - or equivalent demonstrating that they understand what it takes to build and maintain a program that would work when it happens for realFacilitative Leadership skillsThe ability to manage by influence across all levels of the organizationAbility to build and maintain trustUnderstanding of technology environment and what it takes to recover itUnderstanding of Risk Management FTEs Supervised 2Work Environment Travel to Cambia and vendor locations.Extended travel to affected location should an emergency or disaster develop.
