Nurse Manager NICU

Responsible for providing patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Unit based clinical resource expert REQUIREMENTS Education Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, Minimum BSN required , MSN preferred Experience Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required and one (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required. License/Certification Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current ACLS Certification. Current NRP Certification. Current BCLS Certification Other Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Note Incumbents in this position as of 7/1/2020 will have until 1/1/2022 to meet the educational requirements of BSN. Ideal candidate must have strong hands on staff Rn experience working in Nursery and NICU level II and III; minimum 2 years strong leadership and operations experience; labor management; quality metrics, physician engagement and team building.
