IT Support Specialist

Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group Inc., is presently recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join a client in Dallas, Texas. Contract to perm position paying $24hr-$27hr The individual will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of laptops, desktops, virtual desktops, mobile devices, applications and peripherals. Researches complex problems, identifies specifications, installs software/hardware and tests computing systems and peripherals within established guidelines. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software. Ensures computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administration systems. Work with procurement staff to purchase hardware, software, computer supplies. Manage and documents service desk que for tickets and escalations. Provides after hours and weekend support as needed.
