Field Specialist 1

Field Specialist 1 - PPS JOB SCOPE:• Under general supervision, perform pipeline commissioning operations as directed, including pumping water and air, hydrostatic testing, dewatering, cleaning and drying, and other pipeline activities. Included is rig up and rig down of all equipment, hoses, meters, etc.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Assist in preparation of line, vessel, or system to be tested, including rig up and rig down of all test hoses, equipment, and test instruments/meters.• Operate/Activate pumps/controls to apply power and subject test item to successive steps in test cycle.• Preparing for jobs and performing tool and equipment maintenance, pre-job and post- job tool and equipment checkout. • Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site. • Service mechanical equipment (pumps and compressors) devices • Monitor controls and instruments and record test data as required.• Know and understand Baker Hughes Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace instructions.• Ensures all work is performed in a safe and manner in adherence with Company and Client Policies.• Must strive to carry out work assignments to the highest quality level.• Required to perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.• Required to work at the home base in the shop/yard, when not on field projects, preparing equipment for projects as needed, including maintenance, general cleaning, and general labor as requested by supervisor.• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations • Extensive domestic travel is required.• Works as part of a multi personnel crew on client job sites.• Fully vaccinated for Covid-19With over 90 years'' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world''s leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
