REMOTE Prior Authorization Nurse

Apply now with Jake Z. at A-line!! ** Position will work remotely for the foreseeable future - office based in Tempe if they do end up returning to office** Job Summary: Daily Responsibilities: Reviewing prior auth documents Reaching out to providers for documentation Writing approval and denial letters. Performance Expectations/Metrics: They will be graded on how many they complete and quality They have an internal point system that will be explained to them once they get going Roughly 12-15 authorizations a day What previous job titles or background work will in this role? Would prefer an RN UM or MM experience PA experience Utilization review experience Normally CMs don''t work too well CCR experience might work out well LVN Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour (determined on experience) RN Pay Rate: $36 - $42 per hour (determined on experience) Hours: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri Required Experience: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Arizona Must have at least 1+ year of Prior Authorization experience Experience with either utilization review, medical management, and/or concurrent review.
