Supply Chain EngineerVolt is immediately hiring a Supply Chain Engineer for a local leading organization in San Diego CAAs a Supply Chain Engineer you will: Assist with supplier development and maintenance of an active Risk Management Plan. Ensure supply chain has effective root cause problem solving activities and successful identification of systemic issues and corrective action. Enhance dock to stock system by improving supplier''s quality performance continuously. Determine key supplier KPIs and issue supplier scorecards to critical suppliers. Conduct regular performance reviews with Suppliers to promote continued and/or sustained success. Participate as needed in the selection, evaluation, quality requirement flow down, monitoring and supplier development activities. Prepare and provide quality presentations for supplier reactive and proactive activities. Comply with regulations and customer requirements such as CMRT, RoHs/REACH and TSCA.Supply Chain Engineer candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: Typically requires a bachelor''s or master''s degree in engineering or related discipline Six or more years of related experience with a bachelor''s degree or four or more years with a master''s degree. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. Minimum 3 years of Supply Management or Supply Chain Engineering experience. Extensive knowledge and experience with Supply Chain processes to include supplier development and corrective actions Ability to define and audit various, mechanical processes Able to assist the supply chain in meeting process, engineering and end item requirements Must be able to apply a detailed understanding of inspection methods and have strong knowledge in mechanical parts and assemblies. Must have the Statistical Process Control techniques required to develop creative solutions to complex quality issues and the skills required to present those solutions to internal and external contacts. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificate preferred. Sound understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 QMS standards. Experience with SAP is desired. Regular business trip will be required.
