Business Interpreter

Job Description:This position is a Business Interpreter role on the Automation, Self-Service Enablement, & Tools (ASSET) Team w/in our Analytics, Modeling, & Insights (AMI) organization. As a member of Team ASSET, our mission is to enable the teams we serve to flourish by delivering solutions & processes that make their work life simpler & more productive. This includes:Automating manual / repetitive workflows.Developing self-service solutions that facilitate insight delivery.Redesigning processes to remove complexity in how work gets done.Responsibilities:As a Business Interpreter, you will serve as a bridge b/w the technical Analytics Analysts and the non-technical Business Community by leveraging self-service BI & Analytics tools to identify patterns, trends and opportunities, and problems. The Business Interpreter role has two primary areas of responsibility: 1) working w/ the Analytics & Business-Unit Leaders to identify and prioritize problems that Analytics is suited to solve; and 2) working w/ the Analytics and Business Communities to develop successful data-driven products & services to solve those problems identified. The Business Interpreter role requires the individual to be proficient & knowledgeable of Data Science techniques & methodologies and have a solid grasp & understanding of the how business operates. The Business Interpreter role will partner closely w/ the Business Interpreter Lead, on a project by project basis, in order to understand the requirements, prepare the data, and produce & explain the information in a way that is accurate & clear.Required Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree in a STEM field such as Engineering, Math/Statistics, or Computer Science or a related analytical field preferred.2+ years'' experience using a modern Business Intelligence (BI) tool (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, ThoughtSpot, etc.).Proficient in understanding & applying analytic methods and algorithms.Ability to influence and drive change both w/in and across business areas.Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).Aptitude and curiosity to learn new technologies and question existing anized and detailed oriented.An entrepreneurial spirit/mind-set.Desired Qualifications:Think-Cell experience.Hands on programming experience (e.g. Python).2+ years'' experience in the Banking/Finance industry.Job Band:H5Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Weekly Schedule:Referral Bonus Amount:0 --> Job Description:This position is a Business Interpreter role on the Automation, Self-Service Enablement, & Tools (ASSET) Team w/in our Analytics, Modeling, & Insights (AMI) organization.
