We are looking for someone with very strong technical experience and domain knowledge, experience in problem solving, strong passion, interest and quick learning abilities, someone who''s detail oriented with an initiative to drive tasks to completion, someone with a bias for action with accountability for results. He/she will be helping us improve the quality of the software solutions that we are providing. This will involve working with a diverse group of software testers in achieving testing goals for our products, continuously improving our testing framework, bringing best practices, tools, capabilities and ideas from outside into the organization, refining and managing a suite of regression and performance tests, end-to-end testing.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork as a member of Agile Scrum Team to ensure the product increment meets acceptance criteria for every iteration.Build, refine and manage a suite of instrument functional, regression and performance tests.Create and maintain documentation related to testing.Create and review quality system documents, protocols, process and product validations, and test methods.Provide leadership and support for quality objectives and process improvement efforts.Oversee overall compliance administration activities relating to design controls, verifications, validations and qualifications as necessary.Perform general quality control / quality assurance tasks, support product testing and releases as needed.Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of quality engineering policies, principles and best practicesApply intermediate understanding of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, ISO, etc.) to support work with little or no supervisionApply comprehensive knowledge of software quality concepts within the software development lifecycleAble to pull reports (queries), interpret trends and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and toolsUses comprehensive expertise to help improve and streamline the software quality or development processReview complex test cases and interprets/analyzes results to report, communicate, and work through issues with software engineersConsidered expert in critical areas of the system and influences project test solutionsQualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math preferred.Associates degree and 1 year experience, minimumPreferred: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math.Minimum of 5 years'' experience in software testing or related prehensive knowledge in software development, including knowledge of software engineering, as well as test processes and methodsExperience with Jira or other test case management, project planning, documentation and repository tools.Demonstrated understanding of developing in a regulated environment and adhering to a quality management systemExperience working on an Agile Scrum team contributing to user story acceptance criteria, sprint planning, estimations and retrospectives.Action oriented with a focus on results.Demonstrated positive work ethic with a strong commitment to achieving project goals.Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.WHAT WE OFFER AT ABBOTT, YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD JOB THAT CAN GROW INTO A GREAT CAREER.
